Your Capitals Minute for Tuesday, January 29

Posted on January 29, 2013 by John Walton

The Capitals begin a two-game Canadian swing tonight, taking on the Ottawa Senators in a 7:30 puck drop at Scotiabank Place in Kanata, Ontario. Ottawa's most recent game came Sunday in a 2-1 overtime loss to Pittsburgh, dropping its record to a still respectable 3-1-1. Craig Anderson, possessing the NHL's best goals against average at 0.73, will start Tuesday night against Washington.

The jersey you see here is what Ottawa will be wearing for tonight's game. It's the franchise's Heritage Jersey, a throwback that will be worn eight times at home this season.

Today's Caps Minute features Joel Ward, the team's leading goal scorer. Ward picked up his third of the season Sunday against Buffalo. He also calls Toronto home, so an Ontario trip is always special. And costly. Hear more in today's Capitals Minute.
