After Mike Green's late first period goal, the Caps would get nothing else the rest of the way in regulation. Kyle Okposo would score with less than five minutes left to tie the game at 1-1 and force overtime. But in the shootout, the Caps would get a goal from Alex Ovechkin and make it stand up. Listen to the final moments here. Washington is over the .500 mark for the first time this year after a 2-1 shootout victory. 1st place in the Southeast with 11 games to go. What a wild ride this has been this season.
