Your Capitals Minute for Friday, January 25

Posted on January 25, 2013 by John Walton

Good morning from Newark. The Capitals are hoping for a new day here in north Jersey, following a 4-1 loss at home Thursday to Montreal. The Canadiens struck twice on the power play early in the second period Thursday, and never looked back to keep Washington without a standings point heading into Friday's action. The Caps will take on the Devils in a 7:00 p.m. here at Prudential Center against a New Jersey team off to a 2-0-0 start.

We'll have coverage all day here at Capitals Voice, WashingtonCaps.com and MonumentalNetwork.com. In the meantime, here's today's Capitals Minute.
