Your Capitals Minute for Thursday, September 26Posted on September 26, 2013 by John Walton
Mikhail Grabovski potted three assists on Wednesday night, two of which came on Eric Fehr goals, and the Capitals posted a 4-1 win over Nashville at Verizon Center. Alex Ovechkin scored his second goal of the exhibition year, and Michal Neuvirth earned his first win of the preseason, going the distance and making 33 saves. The win was Washington's third in exhibition play, and the first that didn't require a shootout to decide the outcome.
The Capitals skate today at Kettler Capitals IcePlex, preparing for the Philadelphia Flyers Friday night in downtown D.C. Washington will then travel to Chicago to conclude the preseason Saturday against the Blackhawks.
